Meat Packing Plants Ordered Open! Workers Prevented From Suing Tyson As Liability Shield Goes Live Video by Silver Report
The meat processing plants have been ordered to open but the serious question is how do they get the employees to work. It looks like they are going to bump heads with the union as they already issued a statement regarding the working conditions. In a sense they are necessary but if they were to pass the prime act we wouldn’t need to deal with either of these nuisances. The farmers would be able to process and sell their meat directly to the consumers. There have been several issues causing these meat plants to shut down, since they are an essential business they have been permitted to continue operating. The employees have been afraid to come into work after the working conditions have caused so many to become sick and many didn’t make it. Unfortunately, the employees are now prevented from suing Tyson and other similar corporations if they are injured by business practices. I think the best solution is to restore the right to sell meat directly to the consumers.
