Cameron Chell: Revolutionary Uses For Blockchain Technology by Rory for The Daily Coin
If you have ever donated funds to a church, relief effort for a natural disaster or other situation, odds are, you probably used a credit card over the phone, wrote a check (what’s that?) or made a direct donation using cash. Over the past decade we have just about talked stopped using cash for any purchase or any transaction between ourselves and a business, organization or individual. Mostly it’s done over the internet or using a piece of plastic.
Blockchain technology is beginning to gets it’s legs and over the next 3-5 years will become the standard for transactions. No, I didn’t say the use of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency would be the standard I said blockchain technologies for conducting all types of transactions, especially where donations and banking transactions are concerned.
I sat down with Cameron Chell, Chairman and Co-Founder of ICOx Innovations to discuss some of the technologies his company is developing utilizing blockchain and what he shared is, not only, fascinating but really is setting the standard for company compliance, branded tokens and companies having the ability to drive more business with their target audience. It is one of the few uses of blockchain technologies that can make a difference in people’s lives without having the hand of over-reach firmly attached.
Even if you are not a fan of cryptocurrencies, which I am not, this interview paints a completely different picture of how blockchain technologies are evolving and the potential uses that are currently, either built out completely or are coming to the table. I have no choice in the matter. I can either embrace this “brave new world” or I can live outside the norms. Don’t misunderstand, I am not throwing in the towel, I will never, ever give up cash or gold and silver, never will that happen. I still understand the day is coming when digital illusions will come crashing down and there will be a need for tangible items of value. But in the mean time take a minute to listen to this very important piece of information about the future that is unfolding right now.
