Gold Smuggling: Libya Keeps “Very Accurate Data…Documents”

Gold Smuggling: Libya Keeps “Very Accurate Data…Documents” by Rory – The Daily Coin

In 2011 when the U.S. conducted a series of airstrikes, eventually killing President Muammar Gaddafi, the world was told it was great to have relieved the world of another “madman” harming his own people. Oh, and Libya’s gold disappeared in the chaos, all 143+ tons of physical gold. But gold is only held by central banks as a “tradition”. It’s funny that gold is “tradition” when it’s convenient, but when it matters it can disappear in a flash!

Today we learn that between 50 and 55 tons of physical gold have been smuggled out of Libya and into the UAE (Untied Arab Emirates). The UAE is the playground of the uber wealthy muslim world where hookers and blow fill the taverns, all of which flies in the face of the muslim law, but it’s all acceptable in the UAE. This just happens to be one of the ports-of-call for gold and gold smuggling in the muslim world as well. A significant percentage of the muslim world gold moves through the UAE on an annual basis.

Official records have revealed that 50 to 55 tons of Libyan gold – worth 3 billion dollars -have been smuggled to the UAE in recent years, according to the database of foreign commerce authority of the planning ministry of the Presidential Council’s government.

The database did not specify the time of smuggling or whether or not the gold belonged to the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), however; sources confirmed that the smuggling happened after 2011. Source – Libya Observer

The first problem is the first two words – “official records”. Since we are supposedly talking about smuggling, which is an illegal act, how can anything be official on this topic, other than to say we know it exist? If “official records” reveal smuggling, this should be called embezzlement, theft or something else entirely, what it is not, is smuggling. The timing is another oddity, after 2011. 2011 was the year when the U.S. bombed Libya into the stone age and all 143+ tons of physical gold came up missing.

By the time the original lie is exposed, it no longer matters why the war was started, only that it continue as long as it needs to. Suddenly the war in Afghanistan was all about women’s rights and the Iraq war was all about the purple fingers of democracy. Never mind that women in Kabul are worse off under the NATO-installed, UNOCAL consultant Hamid Karzai than they were in the bad old days before Operation Cyclone. Never mind that Iraq is now a balkanized mess, divided along religious and ethnic lines and still rocked by bloody violence on a daily basis. The media spotlight has shifted to the next 24/7 distraction, and the public can go back to not being able to place these countries on a map, let alone care about their inhabitants.

This is exactly the case with the NATO-led invasion of Libya in 2011, which once again we were told was about a heartfelt concern for the well-being of the Libyan people.

Once again, the public was lied to just enough to convince them that war was necessary to maintain peace, and now that the real mission has been accomplished and Libya’s gold has been stolen and its central bank has been established and its AFRICOM-resisting leader has been killed and it has been established as an operations base for NATO’s Al-CIAda mercenaries, they couldn’t care less about the lives of the Libyan people. Next we find that some how this new Libyan government, which was implemented after “we came, we saw, he died” in 2011 has somehow managed to detail the gold smuggling activities in Libya. Since 2011 Libya has literally returned to the stone age, where it was once the wealthiest nation in Africa, but today there are open slave markets in the streets but the government is keeping track of gold smuggling. This doesn’t even make sense. Smuggling is opaque by it’s very nature – it is not called an open market it is called a “black market” – this means you can’t see what’s happening!

“We have issued very accurate data about the smuggling and we have documents for it.” Grira added.

Smuggling of Libyan gold has seen a hike lately due to lack of security and inspection. Observers say the gold is being sent to Dubai to make easy money out of currency exchange rates.

What kind of scam is being perpetrated in Libya or using Libya as cover? Why is the story coming out of Libya at this time? Who needs 50+ tons of gold, right now, today?

This story reeks of high crimes and the authorities are using some low level writer to present a poorly written cover story. How can you have a “lack of security and inspection” on one hand and “very accurate data” on the other hand? I’m not that smart so, please explain and speak slowly so that I can understand.
