May The Eyes of Your Heart Be Enlightened…
May The Eyes of Your Heart Be Enlightened… by Rory – The Daily Coin
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are humbled by your continued support. It is our prayer that you and your family are healthy, prosperous and safe in the days ahead.
I feel confident that many of you have noticed the introduction of a new direction, a new horizon with writings and publications that are more focused on Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Our world is changing and I, too, am changing. We hope and pray that you have been reading these publications, wether they be a result of God working through me or working through someone else. You will see more of this type of material. We, however, are NOT abandoning any of the works that attracted you in the first place, we are simply adding another bit of flavor to the mix.
In the background is another website that is being built right now. The goal is to launch sometime around the first of 2019. It will be similar to The Daily Coin, however, there will be an overt spiritual leaning to the site. The material will be presented in a Christian setting with a very decidedly Christian message. As I stated my world is changing. On July 8, 2018 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and from that day forward the goal has been to honor His word, share His word and live in the Spirit of God. This is highly personal and I pray that you come along for the ride, as it will be a glorious, joyful ride indeed!
In 2002 my whole life changed. It was the first time I had encountered Christ in a way that, literally, saved my life. As many of you know I lost a brother almost ten years ago and have never truly honored his death. It is way past time to honor my fallen brother and what Jesus Christ has so freely shared.
Thanksgiving and Prayer
15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:15-23
