Hassle Free Sawed Off: The Remington TAC-14 Video – NutNFancy
Just like the excellent and beloved (here at least!) Mossberg Shockwave, the Remington TAC14 in 12 or 20 gauge offers super compact hitting power. Classified as a “firearm” and not an SBR, the TAC-14 is completely legal though just over 26 inches. It is one of those few “good deals” good citizens can enjoy without ATF paperwork and tax stamps.
It is a niche shotgun, discussed here and it definitely is not my first choice battle weapon. But the TAC is fast, reliable, and smoother than the Shockwave. Remington 870 quality is present with solid steel receiver and dual action bars. The 20 gauge is a first rec’d choice here for lower recoil, slightly lighter weight, and more manageability. But an interesting pro-12 gauge consideration is raised here. Add in a Shockwave grip, simple and functional bead sight, and a Magpul MLOK compatible handguard and the TAC-14 has excellent versatility. A few downsides are here and are discussed.
But you may have a hard time deciding between the Mossberg Shockwave and the Remington TAC14, both are excellent. Watch both my reviews and then decide. Either are excellent in the POUs discussed.
