Burger Flipping Robots is Soooooo 2017
Burger Flipping Robots is Soooooo 2017 by Rory – The Daily Coin
We first reported on Flippy back in March 2017, exactly one year ago. At the time we reported
Today we find out how bad it is for the Fight for $15 crowd and the burger flippers can now be replaced with a robot. CaliBurger doesn’t pay for burger flippers, it uses a robot to do the cooking.
A burger-flipping robot has just completed its first day on the job at a restaurant in California, replacing humans at the grill.

And don’t think for a second the robotics developer have achieved their ultimate goal. They haven’t even started. Burger flipping robots is soooo yesterday.
“Though we are starting with the relatively ‘simple’ task of cooking burgers, our proprietary AI software allows our kitchen assistants to be adaptable and therefore can be trained to help with almost any dull, dirty or dangerous task in a commercial kitchen — whether it’s frying chicken, cutting vegetables or final plating.”
Cameras and sensors help Flippy to determine when the burger is fully cooked, before the robot places them on a bun. A human worker then takes over and adds condiments. Source
Unless people begin thinking, and more importantly, doing for themselves and creating the world they wish to prosper a great many more people are going to find themselves as a slave to the system. Universal Basic Income (UBI) is being discussed in back rooms and in open door meetings around the world. If you do a simple web search for “universal basic income” you will find out exactly what is being discussed. UBI would make anyone on the dole nothing more than cannon fodder for the globalist. Step out of line and their world would come crashing down. Say the wrong thing, protest for your human rights or simply have a robot determine the cost of “benefits” is too high and the next thing you know, with the push of a button, a persons financial, economic and social world comes to a grinding halt.
Now we learn the company has opened their first store and, of course, this is only the beginning. My guess is this will be a huge success especially with the rise of Big Mac vending machines. If a company can put a box on the sidewalk and tell people to purchase hamburgers from it and they do, well, serving burgers cooked by a robot is nothing.
Flippy, a burger-flipping robot, has just begun work at a restaurant in Pasadena, California. It is the first of dozens of locations for the system, which is destined to replace human fast-food workers.
According to a press release from Miso, the company — which bills Flippy as the world’s first burger-flipping robot — began working with Caliburger two years ago to develop it as a “cost-effective and highly efficient solution” that is “specifically designed to operate in an existing commercial kitchen layout and to serve alongside kitchen staff to safely and efficiently fulfill a variety of cooking tasks.” Source
We have robots making cocktails in Las Vegas. The Tipsy Robot proclaims – 2 robots, 8 humans. Endless possibilities. Or said another way, 20% of the staff is not human – 20%!!! Right out of the gate. By this time next year don’t be surprised to find us reporting the human staff has been cut by another 20% with a ratio of 4 robots, 6 humans.

“The kitchen of the future will always have people in it, but we see that kitchen as having people and robots,” said David Zito, co-founder and CEO of Miso Robotics tells KTLA in Los Angeles. “This technology is not about replacing jobs — we see Flippy as that third hand.”
But Flippy still needs a human to help it do its job. In its current version, the robot has to have a human coworker nearby to place the patties on the grill, put the cheese on top at the right moment, and add the extras, such as lettuce and sauce before wrapping the sandwiches for customers. So all it does is flip burgers. But it is just one more nail in the minimum wage’s coffin, that’s for certain. Source
To say Flippy is another nail in the coffin of human performed tasks is a massive understatement. If you have robots flipping burgers, making cocktails and soon enough, driving vehicles of all types we will see a massive shift in human performed task. What will these people do to produce an income? What will these people to support themselves and contribute to their community? We are entering very dangerous grounds and unless we the people stop supporting these globalist constructs it is only going to get a lot worse from here.
