How The Deplorables Will Overthrow The Elite
How The Deplorables Will Overthrow The Elite
Many conservatives think that watching a liberal even attempt to explain conservative thinking is like watching a dog chase it’s tail. We have noted time and again how many liberals describe Donald Trump supporters as “angry white males,” or as Hillary calls them “deplorables,” claiming they are ignorant, uneducated, racist, xenophobic and a whole host of others descriptors.
Today I ran across two items, both from liberals and surprisingly, both worthy of noting, because both accurately captured the mood of people that, despite experiencing how the media and elites rig elections, and how corrupt the “establishment” has been for decades, are willing to step back into the ring and head to the polls to vote in this upcoming presidential election, many even after swearing to never vote again.
On October 12, 2016, Cracked.com published a piece, from a liberal writer, living in a blue state, with one of the best explanations for what has been dubbed the “Trump Phenomenon,” garnered from his experience of having been born and raised in what he refers to as Trump country. Kudos has to go out to this guy because he is most likely receiving a ton of flack from other liberals for explaining six reasons that no one is talking about, on how Donald Trump has risen to become the GOP nominee for president and why he may well win the presidential election.
While the entire article is a must-read, I would like to focus on key quotes from his reasons numbered 4 and 5:
4. The Rural Areas Have Been Beaten To Sh*t
If you don’t live in one of these small towns, you can’t understand the hopelessness. The vast majority of possible careers involve moving to the city, and around every city is now a hundred-foot wall called “Cost of Living.” Let’s say you’re a smart kid making $8 an hour at Walgreen’s and aspire to greater things. Fine, get ready to move yourself and your new baby into a 700-square-foot apartment for $1,200 a month, and to then pay double what you’re paying now for utilities, groceries, and babysitters. Unless, of course, you’re planning to move to one of “those” neighborhoods (hope you like being set on fire!).
In a city, you can plausibly aspire to start a band, or become an actor, or get a medical degree. You can actually have dreams. In a small town, there may be no venues for performing arts aside from country music bars and churches. There may only be two doctors in town — aspiring to that job means waiting for one of them to retire or die. You open the classifieds and all of the job listings will be for fast food or convenience stores. The “downtown” is just the corpses of mom and pop stores left shattered in Walmart’s blast crater, the “suburbs” are trailer parks. There are parts of these towns that look post-apocalyptic.
I’m telling you, the hopelessness eats you alive.
And if you dare complain, some liberal elite will pull out their iPad and type up a rant about your racist white privilege. Already, someone has replied to this with a comment saying, “You should try living in a ghetto as a minority!” Exactly. To them, it seems like the plight of poor minorities is only used as a club to bat away white cries for help. Meanwhile, the rate of rural white suicides and overdoses skyrockets.
The writer is describing some of the people that Hillary Clinton once said belonged in a “basket of deplorables,” and she considers “un-redeemable.” People that want to see their towns grow instead of wither and die. People that want to work, but there are no jobs to be found. People that are slowly dying because politicians only are only interested in the big cities that hold the most voters per square foot.
5. Everyone Lashes Out When They Don’t Have A Voice
It really does feel like the worst of both worlds: all the ravages of poverty, but none of the sympathy. “Blacks burn police cars, and those liberal elites say it’s not their fault because they’re poor. My son gets jailed and fired over a baggie of meth, and those same elites make jokes about his missing teeth!” You’re everyone’s punching bag, one of society’s last remaining safe comedy targets.
They take it hard. These are people who come from a long line of folks who took pride in looking after themselves. Where I’m from, you weren’t a real man unless you could repair a car, patch a roof, hunt your own meat, and defend your home from an intruder. It was a source of shame to be dependent on anyone — especially the government. You mowed your own lawn and fixed your own pipes when they leaked, you hauled your own firewood in your own pickup truck. (Mine was a 1994 Ford Ranger! The current owner says it still runs!) […]
The rural folk with the Trump signs in their yards say their way of life is dying, and you smirk and say what they really mean is that blacks and gays are finally getting equal rights and they hate it. But I’m telling you, they say their way of life is dying because their way of life is dying. It’s not their imagination. No movie about the future portrays it as being full of traditional families, hunters, and coal mines. Well, except for Hunger Games, and that was depicted as an apocalypse.
Michael Moore, a former Bernie Sanders supporter, a man who is the direct antithesis of just about everything that conservatives stand for, who has recently been quoted as calling Donald Trump supporters “legal terrorists,” and has created a movie in total support of Hillary Clinton, has either changed his mind or lost his mind over his belief that Donald Trump will win the presidential election….. you decide.
In July 2016, Moore, a rabid Trump hater, told his readers “And now I have even more awful, depressing news for you: Donald J. Trump is going to win in November. This wretched, ignorant, dangerous part-time clown and full time sociopath is going to be our next president. President Trump. Go ahead and say the words, ‘cause you’ll be saying them for the next four years: “PRESIDENT TRUMP.”
In that essay, Moore detailed five reasons for his belief that Trump would win against Hillary Clinton, which includes: Midwest Math, or Welcome to Our Rust Belt Brexit – The Last Stand of the Angry White Man – The Hillary Problem – The Depressed Sanders Vote and – The Jesse Ventura Effect.
In less than two weeks, Moore shot, edited and released his unannounced movie project, ‘Michael Moore in TrumpLand’, which was culled from two one-man shows Moore had performed earlier this month. Moore didn’t go after Trump so much, as he used the film to detail what he considers Clinton’s ‘virtues’, but it was at a promotional event for his new film that he told audience members that he thinks Trump will win and proceeded to explain why.
It is noteworthy after reading Moore’s screed about Trump voters being “legal terrorists” that Moore, like most liberals, constantly attributed reasons to Trump supporters without bothering to even talk to them, as if a liberal who would never support Trump could accurately climb inside the heads of Trump supporters and explain their thinking process.
So, after ranting and raving about how Trump voters were lagal terrorists, Moore then decides to actually talk to Trump supporters…. and that is when he wrote, and read, the following to the audience of his new release, which concludes with the following statement: “Trump’s election is going to be the biggest F*** YOU ever recorded in human history. And it will feel good.”
LANGUAGE WARNING ON THE VIDEO – Transcript of Moore’s four-minute Trump commercial below the video.
I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump and they don’t necessarily agree with him. They’re not racist or redneck, they’re actually pretty decent people and so after talking to a number of them I wanted to write this.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said: if you close these factories, as you are planning to do in Detroit, and rebuild them in Mexico, I am going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobody’s going to buy them.
It was an amazing thing to see.
No politician -Republican or Democrat – had ever said anything like that to these executives. It was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. You live here in Ohio. You know what I am talking about.
Whether Trump means it or not, it’s kind of irrelevant because he’s saying the things that people who are hurting. And it’s why every beaten down, nameless, forgotten working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle-class loves Trump.
He is the human molotov cocktail that they have been waiting for. The human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them. And on November 8th, election day, although they have lost their jobs. Although they’ve been foreclosed on by the bank. Next came the divorce and now the wife and kids are gone. The car’s been repossessed. They haven’t had a real vacation in years. They’re stuck with the sh*tty Obamacare bronze plan. They can’t even get a f**king percocet.
(Yells) They have essentially lost everything they had…except one thing. The one thing that doesn’t cost them a cent and is guaranteed to them by the American Constitution: the right to vote.
They might be penniless. They might be homeless. They might be f**ked over and f**ked up. It doesn’t matter because it is equalized on that day. A millionaire has the same number of votes as a person without a job: ONE.
And there is more of the former middle-class than there are in the millionaire class. So, on November 8th, the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth, be handed a ballot, close the curtain, take that lever — or felt pen or touchscreen — and put a big f**king X in the box by the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives: Donald J. Trump.
They see that the elites who have ruined their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump. The Media hates Trump…after they loved him and created him. Now, they hate him. Thank you, Media.
The enemy of my enemy is who I am voting for on November 8th.
Yes, on November 8th, YOU — Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Blow, Billy Bob Blow, all the Blows — get to go and blow up the whole g**damn system because it’s your right. Trump’s election is going to be the biggest F**K YOU ever recorded in human history. And it will feel good.
Michael Moore, Trump hater and Hillary supporter, just basically created a four-minute commercial explaining to disillusioned Americans, the disenfranchized, the middle class that has been used and abused for decades by the Washington elite, the political class and the mainstream media protecting them all, why they should vote for Donald Trump.
BOTTOM LINE – THERE ARE MORE OF US THAN THEM
Statistics show that as of the 2014 census bureau report, the last available figures, that 15 percent of the U.S. population are living below the poverty level, approximately 46.7 million people. other reports show that 41.2 million working people, or nearly 30 percent of the workforce, are receiving public assistance and that nearly half of them are working full-time jobs.
According to data research conducted in September 2016, the demographic breakdown on welfare recipients, not including Medicaid, is as follows: 39.6% of welfare recipients are black, 21.2 % are Hispanic, 18 % are Asian or Pacific Islander, 16.8 % are white-caucasian and, 4.4 % are listed as other-mixed.
Is it a coincidence that Donald Trump is on par to receive more black support than any GOP candidate since 1960 with those high numbers on welfare?
The fact is that between the disillusioned and downtrodden that the two liberal writers spoke about, along with the millions on welfare that are still working and living in bigger cities, and those living below poverty levels, with conservatives that understand that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be a third term for Obama policies…. there are more of us, the “deplorables,” than there are of them, the political class, the so-called “elite,” and the members of the media.
The only question is….. will they show up to vote or will they hand this election to Hillary and then spend four years complaining about how corrupt and rigged the system is, when they very well could have been the difference and overcome the corruption simply by sheer numbers alone?
The “deplorables” can overthrow the elite….. but will they?
