By Twain Yobra

The use of antibiotics has greatly risen in recent years. And it’s not just in humans but in animals as well. This has led to antibiotic resistance and a weak immune system. But did you know that in olden days,  way before pharmaceutical antibiotics, folks fought diseases with herbs and food?

Lucky for us, those herbs and foods are still available. So instead of using antibiotics that harm your health, use the foods below to fight diseases.

Garlic is definitely a superfood. It contains lots of vitamins and minerals that will keep you disease-free. Garlic actually contains a compound, allicin – which has the same properties as penicillin.
