The second device has been called a pressure cooker bomb by authorities, but Bill Deblasio, the liberal mayor of New York who seems to be more worried about political correctness than the safety of his city, immediately denied the bombing was a terrorist attack.
De Blasio said the blast was “an intentional act” but claimed the bombing had no terrorist connection despite the fact that another bomb, a device that authorities say is similar to the pressure cooker bombs used in the Boston Marathon bombing, was found just down the road.

Marines Targeted in New Jersey Bombing
Earlier in the day, another bomb was detonated in New Jersey at a Marine Corp 5K Marathon event. That explosion occurred around 9:30 a.m. as spectators and runners were about to line up for the start of the race, according to New Jersey 101.5. Later in the day, Federal investigators found three more bombs with shrapnel after investigating the earlier bombing.
The FBI and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives is leading the investigation into the bomb and New Jersey officials and the FBI are treating that event as an act of terrorism.
