Daisy Luther: Food As Wealth Preservation

by Rory, The Daily Coin Who among us eats? Everyone? Food is no longer counted in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and this causes problems for those not paying attention. The Federal Reserve has stated, on numerous occasions, their policy is to achieve 2% price inflation. Just as a reminder inflation, any amount, is nothing more than stealth theft by the oligarchs. As a chief engineer of our current monetary policy stated: keynes economy collapse nwo bank It is our responsibility to do everything within our power to stay ahead of inflation. If the size of the packages is shrinking, and they are, that is price inflation. A lot of people noticed a few years ago, that ice cream containers shrank from a typical half-gallon size down to 1.50 quarts, but the price stayed the same and now has climbed higher. As an example: if ice cream was priced at $5.00 for a half-gallon and the size shrinks to 1.50 quarts for the same money that represents a 25% price increase. Said another 25% inflation. Now if a year later that same ice cream goes to $5.50 for 1.50 quarts, that represents an additional 10% inflation. That, ladies and gentlemen, is unsustainable and would be considered grand theft in any other setting. We must take control of our individual situations. We must devise ways to stay ahead of this insidious monster that is staring us in the face. The Federal Reserve has stated they want to achieve 2% price inflation. Does that mean an additional 2% on what is demonstrated above – which, by-the-way, is pretty close to reality – or what exactly are they talking about? Enter Daisy Luther, The Organic Prepper. Daisy has dedicated a substainal amount time, resources and research into ways to help each of us to stay ahead of this monster that is “secretly and unobserved” nipping at our heals. She has written numerous books and maintains a very active website that is filled with great ideas, practical solutions to everyday emergencies and ways to help you and your family remain solvent. Preparedness is not about the world coming to an end or people dying all over the place. Preparedness is about living in a way that a person is ready for life to happen on life’s terms. We never know when something is going to go wrong. What can happen during the course of the day? You could arrive at home, after work, and your spouse hand you divorce papers – big change. Your phone could ring and you discover your child is seriously ill or has been badly injured – big change. As a responsible human being if you have the everyday items, in your possession, that are necessary to conduct your life tomorrow as you did today, these situations become much easier to handle. I did not say it makes it easier on an emotional level, just the physical level. If we keep our house in order, by staying ahead of inflation through preparedness, we automatically teach ourselves to take better care of the other areas of our lives. This makes our lives better. This makes our family stronger. This creates a sense of well being and serenity in our homes. I don’t about you, but I’ll take as much of that as possible!! Let’s listen in to what Daisy has to offer. I think you are going to like what you hear!
