Mark Levin Just Revealed The 1 Thing Congress Needs To Do To Stop Obama
by Mark , Western Journalism The U.S. Senate could stop the Iran deal now, according to conservative talk show host and author Mark Levin. He said the problem is Republicans do not have the guts to confront President Barack Obama. “Tell the Republicans, this isn’t about getting along with Obama. It’s about stopping Obama,” Levin said. Levin blasted the president, Democrats and Republicans in a speech on Sept. 9 at a Stop Iran rally on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. He said senators have options to stop the deal in its tracks by invoking the treaty clause, suspending the filibuster rule, and voting against lifting sanctions against Iran. The talk show host said congressional members should do what the people want, and the American people do not want this deal, which Levin called “a phony deal.” “We’re here to tell the world that we the American people reject the cowardice and surrender by our government to the geosuicidal terror regime in Iran,” he said. The deal is a bad one, Levin continued. It allows Iranians to inspect their own nuclear sites, build advanced centrifuges, continue uranium enrichment, perfect their intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), secure nuclear warheads, and spend $150 billion on terrorism. “Never before has a president or a political party consented to funding the enemy. Never before has a president entered into agreements with a terrorist regime that holds Americans hostages, that has killed and maimed thousands of American soldiers and that seeks nuclear weapons and ICBMs to attack his own country,” Levin said. Levin said the deal will lead to war because Iran has no intentions of peace, claiming U.S. officials know this because Iranian leaders “told them so.” The author and talk show host said Democrats supporting this deal would carry the weight of the deal forever. “It’s clear that the Democrats no longer represent the likes of Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy… The Democrat Party will have blood on their hands as a result of this deal for the rest of time,” he said. Levin had a message for Iranian leaders. He said they have mistaken the weakness of a president and Congress as representative of the American people. “We Americans have been threatened by better than you. We Americans have been threatened by forces far stronger than you, and we’ve obliterated every damn one of them,” he concluded.
