Russia Invites Greece to be Sixth Member of (G)BRICS New Development Bank

TDC Note – I have been saying for months that Greece was going to get help from either Russia, China or BOTH. It appears it will be both. Remember the “closed door” meeting that Tsirpas attended with Putin? Well, it seems we are now witnessing the fruit from that meeting. It seems that Putin has talked to the Turks, explained to them the benefits of sitting aside their differences with the Greeks and getting the pipeline to run through both countries. Now, we see where the funding and support are arriving. Will Greece, as I have been saying, reintroduce the Drachma? Possibly backed by gold and/or silver? I bet they do once China announces a gold backed Renminbi. September anyone? from DAHBOO77 Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Monday held a telephone conversation with Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak. During the conversation, Storchak invited Greece to become the sixth member of the New Development Bank of BRICS countries, Greece’s Syriza party reported on its website. Storchak is a representative of the BRICS Bank which is now being established. The newly appointed chief of the bank is Kundapur Vaman Kamath, the former Non-Executive Chairman of ICIC Bank, India’s second largest bank.
