Six examples of federal government overreach
by MD Creekmore, The Survivalist Blog Everyone with even a half a brain knows that the federal government is out of control and continues to overreach in its power grab, while completely disregarding the Constitution, states rights, and individual rights and liberties.
The federal government, has its tyrannical hand in every facet of our lives, no matter how mundane it may seem, right down to regulating our toilet seat. And it’s nothing new, governments always work towards, gaining more power and control, and their gains are only limited by how hard the people push back.
An example of very strong push back came after the Sandy Hook “shooting”, when government tried to use that event as a spring-board to gain public support for enacting wide sweeping gun bans and regulations.
But we said no – we got behind the NRA, we flooded the mail boxes (both digital and physical) of our states congress people, we used the internet to get organized and to get the word out about the truth and what they were trying to pull.
We said no… no we will not turn in our guns… we said that it doesn’t matter if you pass some unconstitutional law or sign some “executive order” we will not abide by it – this was evident by the huge buying frenzy of AR-15’s and ammo – IF YOU WANT THEM COME AND TAKE EM!
We won that battle because we got organized and stood up – but we have not won the war, the war against the power grab is never over, because they will always keep coming back with a different event or angle to push their agenda. It’s the fight that never ends.
Another example of the people standing up and winning against the federal government overreach, is the April standoff 2014 at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, the people stood up and said hell no! This isn’t right and we are not going to let it happen!
In both cases the use of the internet had a lot to do with us defeating the federal gun grab and the eventual outcome of the feds leaving the Bundy ranch and Bundy still grazing his cattle on the disputed land.
The above examples of federal government overreach and defeat proves that we can win (sometimes), if we get organized and stand-up and say no! No more!
Below are six more clear examples of the federal governments overreaching power-grab, with success in most cases (their success not ours), over states 10th Amendment rights and the constitutional rights of Americans.
The surest way to defeat the following federal overreach, is via states rights and the exercise of the tenth amendment. But the states have to stand up first and say no… with the support of the citizens of each state.
To gain power the states need to stand up together and say no, not in our states, get out of our lives, and take your federal grant money and handouts that you use to try to control state policy with you.
1. Control of Health-Care
Everyone has heard about the “affordable” care act, better known as Obama care. Obama care is clearly, unconstitutional (no matter what some judges in the supreme court say), and is nothing more than a power grab by the federal government to control your health-care choices and to make you pay for it.
The Constitution is a document that is intended to preserve liberty by limiting the powers of the federal government. It reserves most governmental powers to the state. And it protects the freedom of individuals. Obamacare strips powers reserved for the states and attacks the freedom of individuals. Joseph Farah
2. Control of Education
Common core, is another clear example of the federal governments overreaching attempt to control every part of our lives from our birth to the day we die. The federal government has no right to interfere or delegate state educational policy. Yet, here we are with the federal bureaucracy, trying to push its way into our lives…
