I recall it vividly because he almost conned me into registering and voting against McCain. One of his specific campaign platform planks was to repeal many of the Executive Orders signed by Bush which enabled the Government to have access to your private cellphone and email conversations. Of course, once elected, one of the first big Executive Orders signed by Obama further extended the Bush initiatives. Now Obama is going to sign an Executive Order today at Stanford which will further open up the invasion by Big Government and Big Corporations into your private matters: The order sets the stage for new private-sector led “information sharing and analysis organizations” (ISAOs) – hubs where companies share cyber threat data with each other and with the Department of Homeland Security Reuters I would urge you to not buy into the mainstream media spin on this that the EO will make America safer. What this Executive Order does is further extend the Government’s tentacles of power around your life.
