Grey Is The New Gold (Video)
Grey Is The New Gold Video – by Rory, The Daily Coin
When I wrote, Pens vs Swords – It’s Still A Thing, I was addressing a new reality engulfing our world – techno-tyranny. The masses who live their lives online in social media sites like Facebook, YouTube and all the other social media internet sites are joyously building a massive profile of their lives, their children’s lives and anyone they come in contact with. If it is posted on social media it is automatically, and instantly, uploaded into the NSA where our personal files live. Our profiles can be built from all the pieces we happily hand over.
Take a photo of that great dish you had for dinner and posted it to Twitter? Building a profile. Uploaded all the photos from the after church service social? Building a profile – to potentially be used against you at some point in the future. It really doesn’t matter if you believe me or not, you can simply review the data dumps from Wikileaks to confirm what was said.
A lot of people have heard the term “grey man” which is to say someone that blends in with their environment – think of it as camouflage. You don’t stand out because you appear as a “just another person” moving through your day.
This same approach should be taken when putting together a go-bag. You don’t want to have the latest and greatest “tactical” backpack you want a back pack that is similar to what the college/high school students use – one that a lot of other people would be using as to keep yours off the radar. Remember, in your go-bag you have lots of essentials for LIFE, including protection of your life. If you have the latest and greatest “tactical” backpack, someone is going to see that you are carrying a backpack full of items they need.
The same goes with language. We can’t speak without it being recorded. Do you own TV, cell phone, computer and have bluetooth in your car? Well, all those devices can record what you say, and produce video, without your knowledge.
Brad, Full Spectrum Survival and Full Spectrum Survival YouTube stopped by to discuss these issues along with a variety of other preparedness ideas for the new normal. Brad has been focused on techno tyranny for the past month or so and has arrived at some truly interesting conclusions. Push play and put your thinking cap on as we are about to venture into the new normal of techno-tyranny and discuss how we can better protect our privacy.
